This is a panoramic view I took with my iPhone 3G at the top of the 1st. Peak of the Chief in Squamish, BC. You can see the ocean on the left side and Squamish on the right side. Yesterday my 6 year old son, 9 year old daughter, my Aunt and I hiked to the top and it was awesome. I really wanted to do it back in May when I was here for a month but wasn’t able so I was very happy to do it yesterday with my kids. A number of people we passed on the way up and down were surprised to see my son doing this huge hike at only age 6.
It took us about 6 hours to do the hike up and back but we did spend a lot of time at the time thanks to Chipmunks living on the peak in the rock. My son and daughter were feeding them out of their hands so they spent a lot of time with those Chipmunks hehe. It was a great time and I’m so glad we did it!
